Came home from the gym today utterly inspired to do some shopping. Spring is in the air and I feel like dressing in pastels from head to toe. I’m absolutely in love with these two loose tops from Asos, they drape perfectly and the cut and the raw edges look so cool! I can’t seem to decide between blue and pink though, which one would you get get?
Bet you guys did not expect color blocking on this blog? Neither did I, since usually it’s one of my least favorite styling techniques. Even though camel is considered a neutral color, it looks really strong combined with a dark green blazer, a recent sales find, and I loved the combo so I had to wear it the other day to meet a client. I have to confess I often opt for blazers and pumps to appear more serious than I really am
This look’s another proof that I don’t need actual spring to dress like it’s spring. The moment the snow melts I’m ready to bare my ankles, even if it’s just for a quick walk to a pastry place around the corner. I’m not a winter person and I hate the cold but dressing lightly makes me feel a bit better, if that makes any sense.
Today has been an amazing day and I’m bursting with excitement and gratefulness as I’m writing this. You know how you’re sometimes hoping or dreaming of something and the opportunity comes knocking on your door? Well, today has been full of such opportunities, and even though it’s nothing major I can’t stress enough how important it is to have clear goals and think positive. Those are the two things that I’ve always been taking lightly, but I assure you, if there’s anything in life that really works, it’s them!
P. S. Yo still have a couple of days to participate in my Valentine’s Day giveaway to be able to win a beautiful gold or silver love tag necklace.
Some rare pictures with my hair looking more red than usual – a complete misunderstanding between me and my hair stylist, which got fixed in a couple of days, so these images will remain my only memory. I’m currently very bored with my hair and I’m looking for safe ways to change something without it being too much.
On another note, I mentioned somewhere on the blog that I’ve never had a properly pleated skirt, so this is a first! A great alternative to pants in the cold months, specially since it can be worn with thermal tights and tall boots. Double win!
I’m wearing:
Coat – Asos (old, similar one here and here)
Skirt – Shein
Sweater- H&M
Boots – Lamoda (sold out, but still available in black here)
Watch – Cluse
Bag – Milly
I don’t know about you guys, but I personally never had a love & hate relationship with UGGs. Maybe it’s because of the really cold temperatures I sometimes find myself living in, that only these boots seem to cope with, but I always loved their minimalistic styles. I’m a huge fan of chunky boots over skinny pants, like in the old times of Givenchy or Isabel Marant, and these boots right slightly remind me of that silhouette.
I chose the classic chestnut UGGs for a short road trip with a friend the other day and I kept the rest of the outfit as simple and cozy as possible, but I definitely see myself wearing them in my looks of the day because the styling possibilities are numerous and I wouldn’t mind bringing more coziness into some of my more fashionable outfits. For every season I find a pair of flat shoes that I wanna wear all the time and these UGGs might just be the one! I do intend to challenge myself in creating a couple of less obvious outfit combos so stay tuned for that!
