It all started when I found myself in a huge need of pretty biker boots and I started browsing my trusted online stores to find a pair to complete my outfits. I found so many I wanted to share with you guys, and the next thing I know I’ve been surfing pinterest for street style inspiration and saving dozens of my favorite comfy boots to create this post. I divided them into three trends that I’m loving and that are huge now and will be huge for a very long time.
This category includes both biker and army boots, because they look rough and perfectly match almost any outfit – from skinny jeans to light romantic dresses to pant suits. Plus they are the comfiest thing you can wear in fall/winter and the rough soles make them extra warm.
SHOP BIKER AND COMBAT BOOTS:
I didn’t notice how this happened but I feel in love with western-inspired boots, especially after I saw how my favorite fashionistas styled them in totally unique fashion forward ways. They look awesome with straight jeans, cropped or frayed at the bottom, flares and midi skirts.
SHOP COWBOY INSPIRED BOOTS:
Statement boots are what I can’t live without, COMFY statement boots are a godsend! Snake print, sequins, embroidery, metallics and rad colors give me life and they’re perfect for the holiday season!
As a stylist I often say it’s better to keep most of your outfit basic, and add no more than one or two trends in case you don’t want to look like a victim of fashion. That being said, sometimes I just don’t pay attention to how many trends I’m wearing at once up until I need to come up with a name for the outfit post.
SHOP LEATHER BERETS:
SHOP WIDE 80’S BELTS:
If I’m being completely honest with you, I think it’s more than 5 trends (insert the see-no-evil monkey emoji). Let’s count: here you have a leather beret, a checked blazer, a wide 80’s statement belt, vinyl leggings, velvet sock boots and a wooden bag. That’s six, but I’m not brave enough to admit it. Does that make me a victim of fashion?
SHOP VINYL PANTS:
SHOP SOCK BOOTS:
The thing is, most of my seasonal wardrobe consists of the latest trends, but I’m not a shopaholic, some of these items are new, but the majority I have been wearing for over a year, can fashion victims do that? Anyways, the message that I’m trying to convey here is wear as many trends as you like as long as you know what you’re doing.
It doesn’t get any cozier than snuggling up in a puffer jacket when the temps drop, but I hear so many girls complaining about looking like a potato in said jackets. There’s so many ways to look chic in a puffer jacket, and not necessarily with heels, though this is my favorite way to wear the padded goodness. I got really inspired by how my favorite street style babes are working their puffers, I hope you do too!
A very unexpected accessory, I must admit but one of my favorite Ukrainian brands asked me to style their leather peplum belt and I immediately had the idea of wearing it with something sporty or even masculine. This outfit was styled in less than a minute and I really like how it turned out, what do you think?
Sweatshirt – Opening Ceremony (similar ones here and here)
Track pants – Asos (cool ones here, here and here)
Peplum belt – RICCHME
Sneakers – Converse
Sunnies – ZeroUV
After browsing through a dozen of online stores looking for perfect denim to update my fall wardrobe, I feel like it’s my duty to share with you guys my findings. My favorite shopping destinations are swamped with cool jean styles – flares, skinnies, mom jeans, you name it! I think I’ll choose a pair of cropped raw edge flares but it’s super hard to make a final choice, see for yourself!
