Absolutely loved wearing my new Lavish Alice coat, that looks and feels too much like a snuggly bath robe. It was super easy to style it in a sort of a monochromatic look, so I decided not to overthink this outfit, mixing together just soft pastel blue and white and adding one of my go-to pairs of shoes this winter – probably the comfiest heels I’ve ever worn by Jefrey Campbell.

I’m wearing:

Coat – Lavish Alice
Jeans – Topshop
Boots – Jeffrey Campbell
Bag – Camelia Roma
Glasses – ZeroUV

Moving on with my insta outfit series, here’s one I wore a couple days ago. The weather is getting really cold and nasty so taking pics with my iPhone rather than a camera becomes a smart way to create content, it’s less time consuming and hence, I don’t freeze my butt off, lol. I love matching my top with the color of my outerwear, this helps creating a rather solid outfit, that doesn’t have too much going on even when it actually does.

P.S. Follow me on instagram (@fashionagony) for daily outfits.

3 ways to style a vinyl trench coat

November 25, 2017

I gotta admit, when I clicked Order to get this vinyl trench coat, I only wanted to pair it with hoodies and I din’t actually think I was gonna wear it often. My boyfriend called it a weird vampire slayer coat, which for me was a challenge to prove him it’s stylish and super versatile. I wore it so many times this fall just to prove him wrong that it literally became my favorite coat ever, it’s warmer than I initially thought and it’s surprisingly comfy. I wish the idea to do this post came to me earlier, I might have shown you at least 10 ways to style a vinyl coat, but we’ll have to do with three.

Obviously this is the safest option to go with, a hoodie and a pair of your favorite jeans can make the strangest coat look wearable and since I have like a hundred hoodies I’ve recycled this look many times. Also, it’s the easiest way to make everyone around you feel ok about the vinyl coat (a lot of my friends were freaked out at first, haha) but most importantly, it’s my everyday office attire that I love dearly.

Feminine Dress and Heels

A patent coat thrown over a sexy dress makes me feel very powerful and I wanted to try this combo the moment the delivery guy brought me this gorgeous Lavish Alice ribbed knit bodycon with cutouts (check out their Black Friday sale!). Incidentally I had these Jeffrey Campbell boots waiting for their time so this is how this outfit came together.

Beret & Red Boots

All of my favorite fall trends combined in one outfit! I love how berets elevate the simplest of looks, but I have to confess they look way better than they feel on, guess that’s something I have to get used to. Red boots is a trend I was very interested in from the very beginning but I guess I was too picky, so I ended up getting myself a pair just very recently, but it’s the perfect 80’s inspired pair!

Combining 5 Trends in a Single Outfit

November 18, 2017

As a stylist I often say it’s better to keep most of your outfit basic, and add no more than one or two trends in case you don’t want to look like a victim of fashion. That being said, sometimes I just don’t pay attention to how many trends I’m wearing at once up until I need to come up with a name for the outfit post.

SHOP LEATHER BERETS:

SHOP WIDE 80’S BELTS:

If I’m being completely honest with you, I think it’s more than 5 trends (insert the see-no-evil monkey emoji). Let’s count: here you have a leather beret, a checked blazer, a wide 80’s statement belt, vinyl leggings, velvet sock boots and a wooden bag. That’s six, but I’m not brave enough to admit it. Does that make me a victim of fashion?

SHOP VINYL PANTS:

SHOP SOCK BOOTS:

The thing is, most of my seasonal wardrobe consists of the latest trends, but I’m not a shopaholic, some of these items are new, but the majority I have been wearing for over a year, can fashion victims do that? Anyways, the message that I’m trying to convey here is wear as many trends as you like as long as you know what you’re doing.

A very unexpected accessory, I must admit but one of my favorite Ukrainian brands asked me to style their leather peplum belt and I immediately had the idea of wearing it with something sporty or even masculine. This outfit was styled in less than a minute and I really like how it turned out, what do you think?

I’m wearing:

Sweatshirt – Opening Ceremony (similar ones here and here)
Track pants – Asos (cool ones here, here and here)
Peplum belt – RICCHME
Sneakers – Converse
Sunnies – ZeroUV
