Maybe it’s because I was born in the USSR, but I definitely have a thing for old apartment buildings, especially with such creative geometry. Initially we wanted to take these pictures outside but didn’t leave the building until we took these. I guess, not all looks of the day have to look like street style, right? :)

I’m not a big fan of maxi dresses but when I saw this one on the Missguided website I immediately had to have it. It’s super breezy but the fabric feels a bit heavy, which makes it a great choice for the evening, and don’t get me started on the cuts – I rarely see a dress with cut outs in the waist area that look so subtle. In a word, I’m in love!

Wore this white lace number to a dinner date with friends in Warsaw. This time we rented an apartment in the old town and I fell in love with all the beautiful surroundings that turned out to be so picture perfect. These shots were taken right outside our building door and I couldn’t ask for a better setting for this outfit.

Look of the Day: Dressing up for a Picnic

Hi guys! I hope you’re having a lovely week so far! 

The last couple of weeks have been extremely exhausting, I had to work every single day, so when an opportunity to get away for a couple of days presented itself, my boyfriend and I took a train to Warsaw. Many of my friends can’t imagine their vacation without sea, beach and tan, but I personally love spending time in other cities, living a normal life, renting an apartment instead of booking a hotel, cooking, having a morning run and going to picnics, which I did yesterday, in a word doing things tourists don’t do. It helps me to get my mind off work and freshen things up a bit. 

P.S. Have you noticed I changed my hair color? I got extremely bored with my old hair so I just had to do something drastic (at least for me). Let me know what you think!

If you look at my blog, you’ll see an enormous amount of black and white outfits. I love this combo both in summer and in the winter time, it always looks sleek, flattering, appropriate and it’s easy to style! I guess you can call it my ultimate classic.
