Something new on the blog, a super random editorial-style shoot we did in the office on the occasion of perfect light and fully charged camera battery. Threw on a pair of clear lens sunnies – something that’s entirely not me, but I loved the result so much I decided to wear them more often.
I’m wearing:
Top – Asos
Skirt – Zara
Boots – Solewish
Sunnies – ZeroUV
I’m not usually one to wear statement tops because I love layering, but this Style Mafia corset blouse has become one of the very few items I actually invested in. I wasn’t very big on the corset trend earlier this year because I knew it wouldn’t last and more often than not it looks a bit vulgar, but a subtle corset detail is something I don’t mind, especially since I got my lace up heels to match it.
I just got back from a two-day trip to Prague, where Tiffany & Co invited me to discover their new fragrance that launches in Europe Oct 1. I got to explore autumn Prague, stay at the Four Seasons suite all by myself (there might or might not have been a midnight mini bar raid), and attend the perfume presentation in the Tiffany & Co. boutique.
For the event I wore Zara leather jacket, Asos top and Elizabetta Franchi pants. Bag – Cult Gaia.
I haven’t been taking pictures for the blog in months, this outfit I’m sharing today is from July. The reason is that I’ve been feeling utterly uninspired and questioning everything I’m doing lately. Even though blogging has long become my job, I wasn’t feeling like I’m doing my best with it, more like I’m stuck with the same routine that I keep repeating every time I’m shooting for the blog.
I don’t feel like my previous outfit posts fully reflect my style nor do I have the desire to grow style-wise. It took me a while to sort this and re-evaluate what I’m doing here, right now I’m trying to bring back the passion I had when I started and developed this blog. Anyways, to cut the rambling, there’s a lot I want to change on this blog and soon you’ll be seeing the new look that I’m currently working on. For now, I’ll leave you with the pictures that I like best out of everything we’ve done this summer.
In the light of the newest supermodel trend I finally decided to give my old baker boy cap another chance, it’s been lying on a shelf in my office for too long. I kinda like the chic and unexpected vibe it gives to an otherwise simple outfit, and I’m more than certain there’s a whole bunch of other outfits it can spice up if I don’t stop giving it chances.
I picked out a number of similar hats in case you’d like to jump on the bandwagon with me.
