I do realize that a style blog is not a place for politics, but today I wanted to share with you something I feel very strongly about, of course in the fashionable manner the blog requires. My heart is breaking every time I think about what’s going on in Ukraine and since I’m currently abroad, I’m gonna leave this outfit in the colors of the Ukrainian flag (that surprisingly, look good not only on a flag!) to hang here until I’m back.

I love this season’s pastel trend but I’m already so sick of baby pink coats on every blog I decided to try mint. Another more versatile baby blue coat is on it’s way because, well, what’s the point of having only one pastel coat, right? :D

I was never planning on buying this skirt but it kinda creeped its way into my closet. Thoughts like “this top would go perfect with that Wang skirt” came to my mind too often, so when the spring came I caved. Looking forward to wearing it many more times the following season!

Last Saturday I attended one of the Ukrainian Fashion Week shows and I truly regret having to reject several other invitations because of busy schedule. I’m sure otherwise I would have a more complete picture of what’s going on in Ukrainian fashion (I’m not a big fan, frankly). Still, it was a fun experience (I’ve never been to a fashion show before) even despite the facts I didn’t bring any fancy clothes with me (I was in Kiev already, when I realized I had time to attend the show), spent half a day looking for some decent accessories, had lousy seats and my camera had a bad hair day :)
