Norway has an amazing influence on me, I feel so energized and productive these days it’s absolutely not a problem to post, which I rarely do on vacation. Also, I’m thrilled to experience the Nordic summer again, these pics were taken at almost 10 p.m. and it was still light outside when we got home afterwards. Such a bliss!
I got this lovely kimono jacket at a H&M sale and threw it on right away! What an awesome find, do you agree?
I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t attempt to wear this feminine off shoulder maxi dress with a pair of sneakers, mostly to tone it down a notch. I’ve been feeling kinda boyish ever since I cut my locks off and if I have an opportunity to accentuate it in an outfit, I’ll go for it. The hair is growing fast so I might not have much time to show off my “stronger side.”
The dress, by the way, is by a young Ukrainian designer Anna Yakovenko and it moves gorgeously. Maybe that’s partially the reason why wore it with sneakers – to get as much movement as possible!
P.S. I just arrived in Norway, where I plan to spend around 10 days road tripping, sightseeing, discovering its nature wonders and simply relaxing so follow me on instagram for some non-fashion related travel pics.
Summer is just a couple days away so I thought I’d share with you my ultimate shoe wishlist. I absolutely love how the fashion trends are leaning more towards comfortable shoes these last couple of years. When it comes to dressing for the hot days – the last thing you want to wear is uncomfortable shoes so I’ve taken care of that. Happy shopping!
High waisted denim skirts of this length are a great way to make your legs look slimmer, in fact, I would go so far as to say, if you already have skinny legs, don’t wear them! But if like me, you’re super conscious about your lower limbs, by all means try one, I swear I felt almost too skinny the day I wore it. And according to Mrs. Moss, nothing tastes as good as skinny feels, so why not pass on that donut while you’re at it?! That’s exactly what I did, but just on that day!
One of my secrets of how to dress quickly in the morning is to plan outfits ahead. Whenever I get a new item, I try it on in front of a mirror in various combos to see what works best. Then I take pictures of the outfits I loved most and store them in a separate folder on my iPhone. Waking up in the morning I sometimes browse that folder to see if there’s an outfit that fits the weather and my plans for the day. Of course, 50 per cent of the time I’d be throwing on some skinny jeans, a leather jacket and jump out to run errands, but this is a great way to keep in mind all the different items you have in your closet and make your outfits more diverse.
This outfit, for example, was planned last fall, but I never had a chance to sport it up until yesterday. I did, however, manage to use it in a shoot I styled back in November (sometimes I do that to my clothes). And also it worked great with my new Stan Smiths, so I’m finally deleting the picture from my outfit folder Have a great Saturday, peeps!
