Finally I got my hands on a perfect pair of gladiators that are not only comfortable, but also adjustable to my chubby calves, which some brands think are too thin, haha.  First I was going to go with a pair from Free People, I think they have one of the best selections of gladiators, but then I saw these ones at Zara and decided I can’t wait that long for international shipping.  Definitely an impulse purchase, but I’m still glad I got them, because these babies are super comfortable and the color is perfect for summer. Gotta work on my tan now!

Another summer item worn in autumn, though an early autumn when the trees still had leaves and the sun was still warm. I totally forgot I had these pictures from like 2 months ago and looking at them I think I’ve already outgrown this outfit, but I love their mood so I’ll post them anyway. This makes me wonder whether my style actually evolves or this is just an illusion…:)

Even though I’m feeling far more inclined towards the 90’s, I couldn’t help experimenting a bit with the 70’s inspiration. I guess if my dress had bell sleeves this outfit couldn’t be any more reminiscent of that decade I think this also has a lot to do with the wider fit and length of the boots I’m wearing here. I don’t know about you guys, but my love for shoes absolutely doesn’t depend on how much they cost me. Take these printed heels for example, I got them on sale for ridiculous 30 bucks and yet they are one of my absolute favorite shoes and I’ve worn them god knows how many times and will keep doing that until younger people will start pointing fingers at me. Unless they fall apart by then A couple of days ago I decided to pair them with a nude trench and a shirt dress I previously wore here to somewhat relive the summer memories.

Wearing these shoes gets me closer to understanding the phrase “love hurts” – this heel feels too high after a summer in flats, after any season for that matter. But the thing is, I love them so much I will occasionally put them on as long as I have a pair of sneaks in my bag. This printed beauty is one of the very few bags I own that can fit a pair of sneakers so this outfit is more of a necessity
