roadtrip with ugg australia

I don’t know about you guys, but I personally never had a love & hate relationship with UGGs. Maybe it’s because of the really cold temperatures I sometimes find myself living in, that only these boots seem to cope with, but I always loved their minimalistic styles. I’m a huge fan of chunky boots over skinny pants, like in the old times of Givenchy or Isabel Marant, and these boots right slightly remind me of that silhouette.

I chose the classic chestnut UGGs for a short road trip with a friend the other day and I kept the rest of the outfit as simple and cozy as possible, but I definitely see myself wearing them in my looks of the day because the styling possibilities are numerous and I wouldn’t mind bringing more coziness into some of my more fashionable outfits. For every season I find a pair of flat shoes that I wanna wear all the time and these UGGs might just be the one! I do intend to challenge myself in creating a couple of less obvious outfit combos so stay tuned for that!

How do you guys feels about UGGs?

I’m wearing:

Cardigan – Zara
Sweater – Baukjen
Jeans – Asos
Boots – UGG Australia

It’s about time this cami dress appeared on the blog, I bought it a while ago and it’s been on high rotation ever since.  I mostly wore it with heels but packed it for Norway to wear with these Asos sliders. A very obvious combo, I must admit, but nonetheless super comfortable. Totally recommend getting a dress in this style if you don’t own one yet, it’s one of the most versatile closet staples that I can think of, an added bonus is that you’ll look feminine, regardless of how you style it.

I’m wearing:

Dress – Asos (similar one here and here)
Sliders – Asos
Cardigan – Zara (similar here)
Bag – Saint Laurent
Sunnies – ZeroUV

One of my secrets of how to dress quickly in the morning is to plan outfits ahead. Whenever I get a new item, I try it on in front of a mirror in various combos to see what works best. Then I take pictures of the outfits I loved most and store them in a separate folder on my iPhone. Waking up in the morning I sometimes browse that folder to see if there’s an outfit that fits the weather and my plans for the day. Of course, 50 per cent of the time I’d be throwing on some skinny jeans, a leather jacket and jump out to run errands, but this is a great way to keep in mind all the different items you have in your closet and make your outfits more diverse.

This outfit, for example, was planned last fall, but I never had a chance to sport it up until yesterday. I did, however, manage to use it in a shoot I styled back in November (sometimes I do that to my clothes). And also it worked great with my new Stan Smiths, so I’m finally deleting the picture from my outfit folder :) Have a great Saturday, peeps!

I’m wearing:

Cardigan – Zara (similar one here)
Top – Sheinside
Palazzo pants – Zara (these ones would do the trick as well)
Sneakers – Adidas Stan Smith (more sizes and colors here and here)
Bag – The Leather Satchel
Necklace – Asos (similar styles here and here)

Spring has managed to make a couple of short appearances and even though I’m back to coats for now, I still have a couple pictures to share with you. Here’s an outfit I wore last week and while the combo is as obvious as it gets, it felt great to wear the some light sandals with matching pastels on top. My closet is currently exploding with new things I got for the warmer days and I can’t wait to show them to you, so stay tuned!

I’m wearing:

Cardigan – Romwe
Shirt – Choies
Jeans – Asos (lots of cool styles here)
Clogs – Sandgrens
Bag – Marc B
Watch – Casio
