Robe coats are definitely one of my biggest weaknesses this season, and if you remember my love for coats you’ll know I won’t stop until I get at least a dozen, haha. This one from the British store Baukjen I’ve worn like twenty times already, my favorite combos are definitely with my good old Stan Smiths.

So happy I ordered these shoes just in time for Paris Fashion Week (I actually had to pick them up in Paris), they are the ultimate show stoppers! Since I don’t really like to dress in layers of colors and textures, shoes do most of the talking in my outfits and boy did these babies have something to say. I thought they would be a little uncomfortable, but on the day we shot these pictures I walked at least a mile to find the perfect location for shooting an outfit with blisters from the previous days and felt okay, sort of a shoe crash test in my book.

Too bad it looks like I’ll have to put them away until spring, I still have a number of plain outfits in mind to spice up with these bad boys

Looking at these pictures I just realized my hair hasn’t been this long since about two years ago (last long hair days here and here), which seriously freaks me out because the length is critical and it’s time to decide whether I want to cut it way shorter, or keep growing it. The material and the shape are a bit different and they are shorter, but I actually like the heel more. Plus they are super comfortable and I’ve already worn them two times so I can tell. Today I wanted to take this opportunity and talk to you a little bit about how serious some people take fashion. Maybe it’s a side effect of blogging, but right now I’m at a point in my life where I completely don’t care what most people think about my looks and appearance in general and any criticism towards my outfits or those of anyone else make me giggle. Not because I’m so confident or think that my style is great, but because it’s only clothes and hey, all of us have the right to express ourselves the way we want to, even if it takes a pair of ridiculous shoes to do that!  Are you with me?

Wearing these shoes gets me closer to understanding the phrase “love hurts” – this heel feels too high after a summer in flats, after any season for that matter. But the thing is, I love them so much I will occasionally put them on as long as I have a pair of sneaks in my bag. This printed beauty is one of the very few bags I own that can fit a pair of sneakers so this outfit is more of a necessity

These are the last decent outfit pictures from my vacation. I really missed my 5D mark II, these pictures don’t do the justice to the views we were surrounded the entire week. But since this was an unplanned journey, and me and my girlfriends had so much fun, I think I’ll get over it
