It took me nearly three hours to get this post up because I literally forgot how it’s done. I took a much needed time out from blogging to focus on my styling work and suddenly found the energy to resume posting.

As you might have noticed lately my style has got slightly smarter and blazers and heels became my best friends. Even though I’m sure it’s just a phase I really enjoy looking serious right now, I guess there’s no harm in that. I also realized you don’t need much money to look smart, some of my recent blazers and trousers are high street sale finds, like this printed kimono from Bershka, a store that I seem to always neglect. Of course it’s not a 100% business blazer but it can be both dressed up and down.

All of the items in this look are sort of my summer uniform, they’ve all been on high rotation throughout the hot months (or should I say month?): the black cami that goes with pretty much any bottoms, the unflattering mom jeans that I love wearing with heels (previously sported here), my all time favorite lace up heels and a YSL bag that’s been through heaven and hell with me this summer.

Wore this outfit to an interview for a local digital magazine and all I can say is this is what i wanna wear every day till the end of summer. Unless I change my mind, haha.

Catching my breath while I’m making this post, this has been a crazy couple of days – traveling to my hometown and back, non-stop styling work and to top that, having a couple friends over that I need to take places. Leaving you guys with this outfit from a while ago, I actually wore this with a cardigan but decided to take it off for the pics and maybe the look turned out a bit too sexy for my liking. High waisted denim skirts of this length are a great way to make your legs look slimmer, in fact, I would go so far as to say, if you already have skinny legs, don’t wear them! But if like me, you’re super conscious about your lower limbs, by all means try one, I swear I felt almost too skinny the day I wore it.  And according to Mrs. Moss, nothing tastes as good as skinny feels, so why not pass on that donut while you’re at it?! That’s exactly what I did, but just on that day!

This spring I’m reinventing the utility jacket that I undeservingly forgot about for over a year. I do believe it’s a timeless piece but due to the excessive consumerism that I’ve been indulging in for the past years I was unable to find time to wear it and space to store it in plain sight. But when packing some essentials to move to another city this jacket was one of the ten outerwear garments I allowed myself to take with me and I’m glad I did, not only because of the safari/military vibes that are trending right now.

Guess what, I spent the last two days in my new apartment repainting walls and when I stepped out to grab a latte this morning it was already the kind of spring we’ve all been waiting for the entire winter. A perfect weather for a fluffy cardigan and some slip ons! I simply can’t wait to enjoy the many months of sunshine and warmth ahead of us, I hope it’s as warm where you are!

The lovely city you are seeing on the background is called Lviv and it’s just become my home. My boyfriend and I signed a lease agreement a couple days ago and finally moved yesterday. We’ve been traveling back and forth for a whole year maybe because both of us have clients here, but finally decided to move and pursue a more relaxed lifestyle.

I’ll be delegating most of my translation work and invest more time in blogging, styling and enjoying life in general, which seems like the only right solution after an entire winter of long work hours and sleepless nights that resulted in irregular pulse, dark circles and bad skin. I’ll tell you more once we’re all set and I hope you like my outfit from a couple days ago!

I don’t care how short my legs might look as long as it’s these culottes that make them look that way. I honestly don’t understand why it’s only appropriate to elongate your legs, when there are so many cool leg-shortening garments that you just can’t pass up on. If you like those cropped pants, by all means, get them!
