I do realize that a style blog is not a place for politics, but today I wanted to share with you something I feel very strongly about, of course in the fashionable manner the blog requires. My heart is breaking every time I think about what’s going on in Ukraine and since I’m currently abroad, I’m gonna leave this outfit in the colors of the Ukrainian flag (that surprisingly, look good not only on a flag!) to hang here until I’m back.

We had a lovely sunny day yesterday and, since it’s not summer anymore, I’m trying to grab every opportunity to wear color before I desert to my blacks and grays. I don’t recollect wearing something made by a Ukrainian brand on the blog, so this has to be a first!

I spent a relaxing 3 days outside of town with friends and right now I’m back to my work, which has been piling up, but the sun outside is so bright I swear I wanna leave everything aside, grab my bike and ride all day! Maybe that’s what I should do! :)

A very casual outfit I sported yesterday while running some errands and going to the movies. Being able to shoot an outfit and not feel cold is priceless right now, although it actually feels weird after 6 months of winter.

At this very moment I’m packing for a weekend out of town, some rest and new landscapes will be very much appreciated.

Just a couple years ago leather leggings were like my uniform, I used to wear them all the time, because they looked cool and were easy to wear. I think oftentimes people could recognize me from the back just by looking on my legs – no one else in my surrounding wore such pants :)
Over time blogging has brought a lot of versatility into my outfits and now, if I have time to plan an outfit beforehand, I make sure to never think of leather pants, leaving them for crisis days like yesterday, when I had literally a minute to come up with an outfit. A good thing about pants of this sort is that you can throw on just about anything – this will look like a decent outfit, I promise! :D

Last Saturday I attended one of the Ukrainian Fashion Week shows and I truly regret having to reject several other invitations because of busy schedule. I’m sure otherwise I would have a more complete picture of what’s going on in Ukrainian fashion (I’m not a big fan, frankly). Still, it was a fun experience (I’ve never been to a fashion show before) even despite the facts I didn’t bring any fancy clothes with me (I was in Kiev already, when I realized I had time to attend the show), spent half a day looking for some decent accessories, had lousy seats and my camera had a bad hair day :)

I’m terribly ashamed of wearing this bag in almost every single outfit post, but surprisingly enough this $40 purchase has become one of my best winter investments, it goes with pretty much everything! I’m even thinking about getting a nude version for the summertime :)

Anyways, here’s a quick outfit post with what I wore running errands today. Red is an excellent transitional color for me, just the perfect amount of bright not to look too weird amidst all the mud out there ;)
