As I recently noticed, sometimes my outfits have a lot going on, I guess when it gets warmer my heart desires color and detail. And detail you have, from printed pink loafers, to ripped denim, to Route 66 tee and a guitar strap Marc Jacobs bag in fuchsia. Not used to this kind of maximalism, I have to confess, but  once you go that road it seems like there’s no stopping. Plain textures just seem too boring right now!

I’m wearing:

Denim jacket – Zara
Route 66 muscle tee – Prince Peter (
Jeans – Levi’s 501
Loafers – Sam Edelman
Bag – Marc Jacobs (lots of other color options below)
Sunnies – Ray Ban

how to wear unflattering shapes

There’s so much going on in this outfit, at least for the minimalist in me: an off-shoulder detail, stripes and fringe, exaggerated sleeves, a wide waist belt and red slingbacks to top it all off! Basically this post is about how to pull off something as unflattering as this striped shirt – it’s oversized but short, it has huge sleeves and a collar. It’s been hanging in my closet for over a year until I found a proper way to wear it. My answer is baring one shoulder and cinching the waist with a wide belt, that’s so trendy right now!

I actually love the result, what do you think?

I’m wearing:

Shirt – Chicwish (similar ones here and here)
Pants – Flynn Skye
Heels – Asos (similar ones here, here and here)
Bag – Camelia Roma
Belt – Asos

how to wear a trench coat as a dress

It’s definitely the trench season that we’ve all been waiting for for too long. Me personally since March,  because of this new Cheap Monday trench coat that’s been gathering dust in my closet ever since. I’m a huge believer in trench coats and every once in a while I love wearing them as dresses, with heels and an elegant bag, cinched with a belt Audrey Hepburn style.

This particular trench coat has a cool sleeve detail that makes it oh so special, and a great addition to edgier outfits that I can’t wait to wear it in, now that we’re done with the annual trench-as-a-dress routine :)

I’m wearing:

Trench coat – Cheap Monday
Bag – Pedraza London
Caged heels – CMG

Nothings screams spring more to me than a pastel duster coat in a light fabric. I chose to wear this powdery blue goodness with everything white to accentuate how breezy it feels. I already see it in gorgeous combos with light blue jeans and cutoffs or maybe even nothing else but a wide belt.

I’m wearing:

Duster coat – Lavish Alice (also love this one here)
Tee – SaboSkirt (great ones here and here)
Jeans – Levi’s
Bag – Camelia Roma
Sneakers – Zara (similar ones here and here)
Sunglasses – GlassesUSA

how to wear the vinyl trend

I was obsessed with the vinyl trend the moment I saw it in mini skirts, then came the pants, which I deem incredibly sexy and unique. This is definitely not the kind of trend you’ll be seeing everywhere, simply because there’s not much vinyl goodness you can buy online, so if you feel the power to rock it, go ahead! My suggestion is to pair vinyl bottoms with heels or flats, sporty outerwear (I’m crazy about this 90’s rain mac!) and logo tees. Another love of mine is the Champion logo so I couldn’t help but get myself one of their t-shirts this season. Another option I’ll try with these bad boys is a dark blazer and some sneakers or loafers!

I’m wearing:

Rain coat – Asos
Tee – Champion
Vinyl pants – Asos (I’m wearing size L26W32)
Boots – Public Desire
