There’s (almost) no better way to celebrate hot temps than to wear something off shoulder! This is definitely one of my favorite summer styles and this IvyRevel top couldn’t have arrived at a better time. It’s so light and breezy and I loved wearing it for a lunch out in this comfy total black look that I attempted to make a little less girly with my rounded frames and a velvet choker. I guess it doesn’t get any easier than this black & gray outfit combo – it’s easy to style and easy to wear and the best thing is that it never goes out of style. You can repeat this principle in any other color, just make sure your top and coat have similar shade and length.

On another note it already feels like winter here and I’m so glad I was able to shoot most of my October outfits to share with you guys, because shooting something new in these temps will be challenging. These past weeks I have been entirely taken up with styling, working on shootings almost every other day and doing a lot of personal styling. This spring I’m reinventing the utility jacket that I undeservingly forgot about for over a year. I do believe it’s a timeless piece but due to the excessive consumerism that I’ve been indulging in for the past years I was unable to find time to wear it and space to store it in plain sight. But when packing some essentials to move to another city this jacket was one of the ten outerwear garments I allowed myself to take with me and I’m glad I did, not only because of the safari/military vibes that are trending right now.

If someone asked me what my top 10 favorite clothes were, this biker jacket would definitely be among them. I got it almost 2 years ago and not only is it made of super soft buttery leather, but it reminds me of Barcelona – probably my favorite place in the whole wide world, and also it was the last jacket on sale in my size in the 10th store I went to looking for it.

The thing is, I don’t wear this jacket nearly enough, always opting for trendier or more fashionable outerwear that eventually ends up in a plastic bag at the back of my closet. But not this jacket, it always has a special place on a rack with my wardrobe classics.  Have you guys found your perfect leather jacket?

Sometimes it’s better not to complicate things, when it comes to an outfit. Nothing really beats the classic white shirt + skinny jeans combo, paired with a midi coat. Wore this outfit the other day to run errands and got lots of compliments. Simplicity is attractive!

I hope you guys are not sick of this jacket yet,this last month it’s become my go-to piece, probably because if offers endless styling possibilities and looks good with pretty much anything. This time I decided to pair it with neutral blacks and whites and a pair of shoes that’s been waiting to be worn for about a year!! I gotta sort out my shoe boxes in case there are more hidden treasures
