This is probably my favorite way to style sexy tops like this one – with slouchy denim that is, and the more distressed the better. I couldn’t wait for the temps to get a little warmer to wear my lace up heels from last summer, still one of the most flattering shoes I own, so I had to throw them into the mix as well. A small cross body is always my bag of choice for almost any outfit, but this time I didn’t want anything to distract from the beautiful back detail, hence the large leather tote, also from last year.

Top – Shein
Jeans – Asos
Bag – Asos
Heels – Asos (similar ones here and here)

A little outfit I wore last week back in Ukraine with this cute mustard H&M top, my lucky find from last weekend in Warsaw. The moment I saw it I immediately knew I want to pair it with this 70’s inspired denim skirt, previously worn here.

On another note, during our 4-day stay in Norway we managed to drive 1,000 km, see fjords and the highest mountain peaks, get snowed in and even get some suntan. So far this has been an eye-opening experience and I’m doing my best not to spam to my Instagram, follow me for some lovely landscape photos.

I’m wearing:

Top – H&M (similar style here)
Skirt – Romwe (similar one here and here)
Bag – Saint Laurent Lulu
Heels – Zara (similar ones here and here)
Watch – Casio

Look of the Day: Hard Light

May 30, 2014
IMG_9165IMG_9164IMG_9219doubIMG_9236IMG_9285

Hard afternoon sun and crazy wind are a blogger’s nightmare, especially when combined. I personally prefer soft morning light on my outfit pictures, sunsets will do as well, but what can you do if it’s your only opportunity to shoot an outfit?

1) make sure the wind is blowing in your back, this way the hair will look more voluminous
2) if squinting on a picture is not an option, stand facing the sun and turn your head to a side, so that one part of your face was lit up without any harsh shadows
3) if you can’t/don’t want to find a shadow, try turning your back to the sun and then just add some contrast to your pictures in Photoshop.

I’m wearing:

Crackled top – Cameo (a gorgeous dress in the same print here)
Sleeveless blazer – Zara (similar one here)
Jeans – Asos
Necklace – Zara (similar one here)
Watch – Michael Kors
Heels – Zara (similar ones here
Bag – Asos

Look of the Day: New Life to Old Things

April 16, 2014

Sometimes I feel bad for the clothes that I don’t wear much because they are no longer “it” or there’s a little detail that I don’t like about them. Like, for example, this turtleneck that’s too theatrical fore everyday life, or these joggers that are a bit too jogger-y. I took these two to a tailor and ended up with a cool neoprene jacket that I’ll wear more than once and trendy loose leather pants that are so perfect for those effortless combos. Do you guys ever do that to your clothes?

I’m wearing:
Jacket – custom made
Pants – custom made (similar ones here and here)
Bag – H&M
Heels – Zara (similar ones here)

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by! <3
