A little cocktail dress with overtness situation from Milan. Wore this ruffled dress to the Diesel Black Gold show and decided to pair it with an unconventional shoe like these cutout overknees from Guess. My metallic nails and accessories seemed like a perfect addition to the burgundy and black palette of the outfit so I went with them.
Bet you guys did not expect color blocking on this blog? Neither did I, since usually it’s one of my least favorite styling techniques. Even though camel is considered a neutral color, it looks really strong combined with a dark green blazer, a recent sales find, and I loved the combo so I had to wear it the other day to meet a client. I have to confess I often opt for blazers and pumps to appear more serious than I really am
Some rare pictures with my hair looking more red than usual – a complete misunderstanding between me and my hair stylist, which got fixed in a couple of days, so these images will remain my only memory. I’m currently very bored with my hair and I’m looking for safe ways to change something without it being too much.
On another note, I mentioned somewhere on the blog that I’ve never had a properly pleated skirt, so this is a first! A great alternative to pants in the cold months, specially since it can be worn with thermal tights and tall boots. Double win!
I’m wearing:
Coat – Asos (old, similar one here and here)
Skirt – Shein
Sweater- H&M
Boots – Lamoda (sold out, but still available in black here)
Watch – Cluse
Bag – Milly
It’s probably the twentieth time that I’m mentioning lace up trend on the blog, but at least you guys know that when I like something, I’m a 100 percent committed to it This top I got only a few days ago has already made its way to the favorite section of my closet, along with my oldie-but-goodie Asos high waisted jeans and these new leather boots that I got from Zara this Sunday. Easily the simplest and one of my favorite outfit combos this fall.
On another note, big news, in four days I’m going to Paris Fashion Week, again! Remembering my previous PFW experience I’ll be super smart this time, go to fewer shows, wear less heels (if possible) and always take the subway instead of a cab (3 missed shows, hello!). I’m planning to stay in Paris for a couple more days after the fashion week is over and just enjoy the city with my bf. Hopefully the weather cooperates! I haven’t planned my outfits yet, my hair is a hot fluffy mess, so I better start sorting through piles of clothes and maybe blackmailing my hair stylist into a last minute appointment! Wish me luck.
And yet another lace up item in my closet! Should I change the name to Laceup Agony?
After so much craving for lace up front tops and A-line skirts I decided it’s time to pair some of my latest findings into the most obvious of outfits. To spice things up I added one of this season’s hottest accessories – a dark red saddle bag. Later in the day I ditched the heels and wore this combo with a pair of sneaks and a faux leather jacket, which may or may not have worked even better.
