I recently realized most of my closet consists of very basic pieces, which, even though they pair with one another amazingly, never have that wow effect that you can only get from a true statement piece. This dress is just the right kind of a statement piece for me, the fabric and the cut and the unexpected green strings make it so special I’ll only want to wear it occasionally but I will sure know I don’t look basic on those days.

The lace up fan that I am, I see no other choice but to keep wearing this trend throughout 2016, especially since it’s now expanded to so many new kinds of clothing: sweaters, jackets, shirts, you name it! I really loved the idea of keeping it simple with my new crispy white lace up sweatshirt and I haven’t worn sneakers and flares in a while so this is how this outfit was born. I stocked up on some more lace up pieces that I can’t wait to show you, so stay tuned!

The lovely city you are seeing on the background is called Lviv and it’s just become my home. My boyfriend and I signed a lease agreement a couple days ago and finally moved yesterday. We’ve been traveling back and forth for a whole year maybe because both of us have clients here, but finally decided to move and pursue a more relaxed lifestyle.

I’ll be delegating most of my translation work and invest more time in blogging, styling and enjoying life in general, which seems like the only right solution after an entire winter of long work hours and sleepless nights that resulted in irregular pulse, dark circles and bad skin. Dressing up in the morning I usually know if I’ll have my pictures taken at some point during the day and on those occasions I’ll maybe add more accessories or wear something new I haven’t shown you guys yet. Hey guys! Here’s an outfit I wore yesterday to have breakfast downtown. Being sick and spending most of the time at home definitely has it’s perks, I don’t remember if I’ve ever posted an outfit so soon after wearing it   Today I’m drinking lots of hot raspberry tea and gathering strength for tomorrow’s journey. I’ll be spending a couple of days in Lviv, a beautiful city in the western part of Ukraine, which frankly feels like my second home given the amount of friends and work I have there.
