Paperbag waist is something I’ve been meaning to try for a while but just couldn’t find anything I liked. These pants were not exactly made to be worn like this but I though they looked cool this way, although I do plan to wear them in a more relaxed manner next time. I can’t seem to let go of the lace up trend for now, not when I have this lace up back shirt on my hands. It’s this perfect summer piece that I’m planning to wear as a beach cover up and maybe even a summer dress on a hot day (it’s really long). Also found these caged heels that I haven’t worn for years in the back of my closet and realized I might be a shoe hoarder (in case you didn’t know).

There’s (almost) no better way to celebrate hot temps than to wear something off shoulder! This is definitely one of my favorite summer styles and this IvyRevel top couldn’t have arrived at a better time. It’s so light and breezy and I loved wearing it for a lunch out in this comfy total black look that I attempted to make a little less girly with my rounded frames and a velvet choker. Hope you like this outfit!

Cropped flares are probably my favorite type of bottoms this spring and I was crazy happy to find these frayed edge ones from Lost Ink on a local website with a 75% discount. I love wearing my cropped flares in two ways: with heels and with sneakers.

Since they’re usually slightly unflattering to the figure, whenever I wear them to a meeting or to dinner, I prefer balancing things out with high heels. I definitely recommend pairing them with a loose top to avoid contrast between the top and the bottom in this case.

I’m also planning to wear these jeans with a pair of crispy white sneakers and a loose cardigan for an effortless look for going shopping or running errands in the city. I deliberately bought them one size larger because I love a looser silhouette, but you can easily go for a fitted style (like these or these H&M ones).

It’s about time this cami dress appeared on the blog, I bought it a while ago and it’s been on high rotation ever since.  I mostly wore it with heels but packed it for Norway to wear with these Asos sliders. A very obvious combo, I must admit, but nonetheless super comfortable. Totally recommend getting a dress in this style if you don’t own one yet, it’s one of the most versatile closet staples that I can think of, an added bonus is that you’ll look feminine, regardless of how you style it.

To me, nothing beats a breezy white cotton top on a hot day and this embroidered piece was waiting way too long to be worn. We’ve finally settled in, and though the apartment lacks a lot of essential items, it looks pretty decent. Immediately after moving I started getting lots of styling gigs, so the whole settling process took way longer than I expected and I got so used to the mess under my feet, well, pretty much everywhere, that it’s really hard to get back on track with normal life.

Let me tell you one thing, a style blogger is not the kind of person who would ignore weather improvements. On a first warm day most normal people would still wear their parkas and coats they wore the previous day, but not us! We would jump at any opportunity to wear sandals like me here. I swear when we were walking to shoot these pictures everybody was staring at me like I’m a white unicorn, and while I can’t deny a slight resemblance, the reason is because I was dressed way lighter than everyone else, even though I felt perfect and not the least bit cold!

It’s back to winter right now but I’m gonna pretend the weather’s great and wear sandals from now on because consistency is everything in blogging lol.

This spring I’m reinventing the utility jacket that I undeservingly forgot about for over a year. I do believe it’s a timeless piece but due to the excessive consumerism that I’ve been indulging in for the past years I was unable to find time to wear it and space to store it in plain sight.
