Summer Beauty Essentials

May 11, 2013
Since a lot of you guys have been asking me about the makeup products I use I thought I’d make a quick post about my most important beauty essentials. I’ve tried a lot of cosmetics, both drugstore and high end and these products happen to be the ones that I swear by and that work best for me. Also, I didn’t include stuff like eyeliners, shadows and blushes simply because I have no particular preferences here and can use any random product (even an H&M blush, if I’m in the mood).

From top to bottom:

1. Sephora Mineral Foundation Compact – No paraben, no fragrance, no oil and talc, hypoallergic – perfect for my weird skin :)
2. MAC 182 kabuki brush – have been using this one for like  a year (although you can probably tell :D)!
3. MAC ‘Studio Fix’ Fluid Foundation – it gives an amazing coverage, stays long and mattifies my oily skin in a way that I almost never need to touch up.
4. Sephora Classic Mineral Powder Brush #45 – I use it for foundation an its literally the best thing that’s ever happened to me (makeup brush-wise :D)!
5. YSL Faux Cils Noir Radical (for night) and a little less dark Volume Effet Faux Cils for the daytime. Addicted to these babies, have been buying them for a couple years.
6. Diorskin Nude Concealer – Have been using it only for about a month and I already like it more than everything I used before – great coverage (I have some serious dark circles going on!) and hydration.
7. Bioderma Sebium Gel (couldn’t find this one online, but this gel works absolutely the same way) and Avene Cleanance Lotion – as I mentioned, my skin is oily (mostly in the T-zone) and prone to occasional breakouts, using these two products I managed to cut breakouts by around 90%.
Do you use any of these products? What are your beauty essentials?

Great products. I’m also using the Dior concealer for over years and it works very well.

It’s very effortless to find out any topic on net as compared to textbooks, as I found this paragraph at this web site.

I would love to try out a YSL mascara, I’ve heard they’re great. :) One of my latest favourite beauty products is Dior’s BB creme, it has a wonderful shade, even my skin out, it’s great. :) xx

I’ve never tried a BB cream before but I think it’s time I should get one as well, especially with the summer around the corner. Will have to give that Dior a try!
