It took me a while before I caved to what’s probably the hottest fall-winter shoe trend – white boots. I loved how they looked on other bloggers but I’m pretty conservative when it comes to my own shoes, as you may have noticed. What pulled the trigger was browsing through net-a-porter (where I sometimes steal outfit ideas, shhh!), when I saw how white boots work with so many of my regular outfits. Before that I have to admit I thought they would only look good with special clothes, but here’s my attempt to show you guys how you can replace your regular ankle boots or white sneakers with white boots and look super stylish!
Layered Basics
Just the kind of outfit I would normally wear with a pair of white kicks – a trench coat layered over a camo jacket, but I absolutely love how these Jeffrey Campbell boots elevated the whole look and made it super sophisticated. I added another white piece to align the whole look (just to be safe!) and that’s what I recommend you start with.

Total Denim
I absolutely love how the whole light blue and white combo brings out the whiteness of these boots, this simple outfit becomes very street-style-worthy with just the addition of the shoes and a dash of burgundy velvet.

Checks & a leather beret
It’s always a good idea to mix a couple of the season’s trends into one look, and for the third outfit I chose my new checked overalls and a leather beret for that 60’s & 70’s vibe.

Let me know which look you guys liked the most and what do you think about the white boot trend? Would you go for it or have you already done so? How long do you think this trend will last?
Over the knee boots are one of my top reasons not to hate fall and winter, though I have to admit I’ve yet to find a perfect pair that would look chic and wouldn’t break the bank. I have never seen so many thigh high boot options online so maybe this year the difficulty will be to narrow the choice down to one pair.
You probably see color red everywhere right now and the reason is it’s super easy to style, you don’t need to change up your entire wardrobe, just get something in red and wear it like it’s your normal white or grey. My favorite way to wear red this season is with light blue denim, white or grey.
It’s that time of the year again! Time to check out the ShopBop’s End of the Season sale. The code EOTS17 gives you 20% to 25% off all orders.
