Got my hands on this red Staud bag last month and I have to admit it’s pretty hard to score online thanks to all the fashion bloggers. I’ve been wanting to get one in tan, but then decided in favor of the red one and I couldn’t be happier. I did manage to find a couple of other color options online and a pretty affordable alternative from Mango if you’re into net nags.
I’m wearing:
Dress – Mango
Jacket – NA-KD (similar here)
Sneakers – Nila & nila
Bag – Staud
When I posted the last pic on instagram, someone commented I looked like Melania Trump. This sounded funny because I never actually intend to look as ladylike, but maybe sometimes the clothes we wear are stronger than us. This Mango two-piece sort of begged for the pointy toes and a silky blouse, so maybe I it’s ok to look like Melania every once in a while, when the clothes are that pretty!
First I was denying I’d ever jump on the lavender trend bandwagon, and then I caved! This color is so delicate and it screams spring, so I couldn’t help but taking these pants to Paris with me (see more of my Paris photos on my instagram).
My favorite way to pair lavender, by the way, is so far with bold colors like orange and red. What do you think?
If you ask me, there’s nothing more boring than having your whole outfit in one style – I can’t imagine myself wearing a classic business suit and pointed toes, but I’ll happily mix it with sneakers or a playful tee. That’s why dressing this business coat down with an oversized hoodie, some ripped jeans and a pair of killer heels is right up my alley. How do you guys like this look?
So I think it’s about time I shared with you the pictures of our little Croatian adventure, which ended almost two weeks ago. Going to Croatia was a very spontaneous decision, we didn’t even get a chance to find plane tickets so my two girlfriends and I ended up driving all across Hungary and Croatia to get to the city of Split, where we spent the night and got on a ferry the next day to reach our final destination – the island of Hvar. We booked a beautiful apartment on airbnb and spent a lovely week in the cities of Stari Grad and Hvar.
Croatia is even more beautiful in real life, than in the pictures I’ve seen on instagram, the Adriatic sea was extremely warm and the water was very salty and clear. If you’re into nightlife, I definitely recommend staying in the town of Hvar, it’s a very lively place. Stari Grad, where our apartment was located, has a beautiful port and the old town, amazing nature and was more on a quiet side, so we ended up driving to Hvar every day, since it’s only 15 min away.
