It’s that time of year when you either don’t want to let go of summer or your hands start itching to shop for fall. I’m essentially both, but since I’m on a shopping ban till the end of the summer, I started thinking about some cool ways to update your summer wardrobe with an autumn vibe without having to buy a ton of new stuff. I can’t begin to describe how refreshing it is to realize that fashion trends are going in the direction of understated comfort. I love my stilettos to death but frankly I feel like it’s time to put them to sleep for a while and I’m super ready and excited to try the new shoe trend – a midi heel. Could you think of a more appropriate summer attire than a denim skirt? It sure does go perfect with all of your summer tops, dressy or casual, and can be worn almost anywhere, except maybe office (I’m lucky to be able to do that too). I’m slightly over the button through design this season, but the made-out-of-jeans style is right up my alley, as well as ruffles and lace up details.
