I figured both my blog and my closet utterly need a splash of color this year so why not start with a color I’ve almost never worn? Especially since orange is so huge this year! Do you have anything orange in your closet?

I guess it’s bad for a style blogger to admit what I’m about to say, but high street sales don’t attract me as much as they used to. It’s probably because the stuff is so cheap I would usually end up with a bag of crap that I’d regret buying the very next day. So when I went sales shopping with my sister last week I only allowed myself to buy these shoes, and even though they were ridiculously cheap, I know I’ll be happy to wear them next year or even after that (if they last that long!). In case you forgot, the trick is to buy items that are comfortable, high quality and have timeless design.

I’m wearing:

Camel coat – Zara (similar ones herehere and here)
Turtleneck – Sheinside
Pants – Zara (similar ones here)
Boots – Pull&Bear (similar ones here, here and here)
Bag – Milly
Watch – Michael Kors

Blacks and navys, browns and camels are some of the only colors I’m currently drawn to. It’s like they are everything one might need to look stylish and sophisticated, yet they are never boring. Recently my tumblr has become a source for all kinds of neutral outfit inspiration and I just can’t seem to get enough. Another thing I can’t get enough of is pastry, hell, I even started baking this winter, especially on late evenings when all the supermarkets in the neighborhood are closed. Ooops  :)

I love the idea of layering bottoms just as we layer our tops and these pants couldn’t find me at a better time! They’re tailored, which I adore, and they have a skirt on top which is an absolute win win in my book. I just can’t wait to wear them with pumps, I guess we all agree boots are not the most ideal match here.

I’m wearing:

Coat – NastyGal (on sale!)
Cropped sweater – AXparis
Split skirt pants – FrontRow
Boots – Zara (similar styles 1, 23)
Faux fur clutch – Nastygal (similar ones here and here)

Colored leather is gonna be huge in 2015, as it’s amount in ss15 ready-to-wear collections is enormous. This trend looks playful and luxurious, even if you don’t got for designer pieces and opt for high street instead. I’ve been neglecting my leather pieces last year just because I felt like I’ve had enough, but right now I’m super excited to add something special to my closet this season. How do you guys feel about the color leather trend?
