I can’t seem to let go of the lace up trend for now, not when I have this lace up back shirt on my hands. It’s this perfect summer piece that I’m planning to wear as a beach cover up and maybe even a summer dress on a hot day (it’s really long). Also found these caged heels that I haven’t worn for years in the back of my closet and realized I might be a shoe hoarder (in case you didn’t know).
There’s (almost) no better way to celebrate hot temps than to wear something off shoulder! This is definitely one of my favorite summer styles and this IvyRevel top couldn’t have arrived at a better time. It’s so light and breezy and I loved wearing it for a lunch out in this comfy total black look that I attempted to make a little less girly with my rounded frames and a velvet choker. Hope you like this outfit!
I recently realized most of my closet consists of very basic pieces, which, even though they pair with one another amazingly, never have that wow effect that you can only get from a true statement piece. This dress is just the right kind of a statement piece for me, the fabric and the cut and the unexpected green strings make it so special I’ll only want to wear it occasionally but I will sure know I don’t look basic on those days.
Bell sleeves is one of my favorite trends this spring, it’s so feminine and paris-street-style worthy at the same time! With the right styling (I’m talking cropped mom jeans, midi skirts, overalls) you can look edgy, polished and easily avoid the beaten bohemian vibes, especially since so many brands added flared sleeves to simple white and blue shirts, making them oh so covetable! I have to confess I already got myself a couple of statement sleeve tops but that’s me, whenever I really like something I need a lot of it
Here’s a selection of 50+ flared sleeve tops from my favorite online stores, hope you can find something for yourself!
Cropped flares are probably my favorite type of bottoms this spring and I was crazy happy to find these frayed edge ones from Lost Ink on a local website with a 75% discount. I love wearing my cropped flares in two ways: with heels and with sneakers.
Since they’re usually slightly unflattering to the figure, whenever I wear them to a meeting or to dinner, I prefer balancing things out with high heels. I definitely recommend pairing them with a loose top to avoid contrast between the top and the bottom in this case.
I’m also planning to wear these jeans with a pair of crispy white sneakers and a loose cardigan for an effortless look for going shopping or running errands in the city. I deliberately bought them one size larger because I love a looser silhouette, but you can easily go for a fitted style (like these or these H&M ones).
