So my model friend and I are starting this project called The Chick Tales where we’ll be shooting all kinds of videos about style, wellness and life in general and here’s our first video about capsule wardrobe that’s gonna last you three months. I figured I would be a good idea to share this video on my blog as our website is currently under construction. We’ve been preparing it for a couple months, I know it’s almost spring in the northern hemisphere but who cares, right?
Anyways, here’s a complete shopping guide in case you’re missing some of these items in your wardrobe:
So this post is majorly inspired by the Vetements instagram and the current temps, when a chunky sweatshirt with a hood becomes a stylish necessity. Right now I’m very into either cropped or long boxy hoodies to wear with pretty much any bottoms or no bottoms at all. I may or may not be guilty of ordering three different hoodies online, if you guys are into this trend as much as I am, here’s a selection of the best hoodies I found while surfing the web.
Some of us (including me) might think a loafer is one ugly shoe but this year it got me curious. I can’t help but admire the uber cool loafer looks some of my favourite fashionistas have put together and maybe I’m ready to get a pair for myself, especially since it’s such a great transitional item – you can start wearing it right now and all through the fall, it goes well with skirts and pants and let’s not forget about the Parisian vibe that’s going on.

It’s not like I ever stop wearing denim, but this season I’m especially excited about all the relaxed versions of jeans to choose from, my favorite styles at the moment being flares (super long or cropped) and mom or dad jeans. I’m also in love with the deconstruction and fray edge trends, they are awesome for everyday outfits with a twist, just pair them with a white shirt or a tee and throw in some cool slides into the mix and you’ve got yourself a chic summer look.
Check out my favorite relaxed jean styles and let me know which one is your favorite!
All the previous years my vacations were super spontaneous and I never had the time to properly prepare and ended up bringing lots of random stuff with me just to have many outfit choices. Less is always more, especially if you consider the luggage limitations, and this time I have more than a couple weeks to prepare for my vacay and I already know what I’m gonna pack. Hope some of my ideas work for you too!
