Shoe trends inevitably gravitate towards comfort and even though, I’m sure, we all love us some sliders and sneakers, it never hurts to add a bit of femininity with a heeled shoe. I’m personally in love with the new block heel trend, especially if we’re talking about lace up sandals. They provide ultimate comfort with a bit of the 70’s vibe, two things I’ll be looking in my next pair of shoes.

Here’s a couple of ideas of where you can find block heel sandals online. What do you think about this shoe style?

Bell sleeves is one of my favorite trends this spring, it’s so feminine and paris-street-style worthy at the same time! With the right styling (I’m talking cropped mom jeans, midi skirts, overalls) you can look edgy, polished and easily avoid the beaten bohemian vibes, especially since so many brands added flared sleeves to simple white and blue shirts, making them oh so covetable! I have to confess I already got myself a couple of statement sleeve tops but that’s me, whenever I really like something I need a lot of it :)

Here’s a selection of 50+ flared sleeve tops from my favorite online stores, hope you can find something for yourself!

I haven’t published any of my Cravings posts for a while so I thought I’d share with you one of my most recent addictions: dusty rose and blush pink (aka rose gold, nude pink, powdery rose, rose quartz or peachy pink, if there’s even a difference, I’m confused!) It’s these shades of pink we’ve been seeing all over Instagram thanks to certain Kardashian/Jenner personas (that’s officially the first time these surnames are mentioned on this blog!), who I totally blame for setting this fashion trend.

In case you’re wondering, how to wear blush and rose quartz, these shades look especially powerful in shiny textures like satin or simple fitted garments like turtlenecks and bodysuits, also they look amazing paired with light khaki and silver gray hair, if you must go all the way :) I’m definitely surrounding myself with these colors asap, if you’re not a pink person but wanna try, I suggest going for an accessory like a bag or a pair of sneakers in blush or nude pink.

9 tricks to make your winter outfits interesting

January 6, 2016

As a personal stylist I often find my clients struggle the hardest with their winter style. To be honest I sometimes struggle too, especially since I’m living in a climate where below zero temps are not uncommon for winter months. Most of the time the first things I’m thinking about when it comes to winter style are skinny jeans, heavy boots and lots of knitwear, but let’s face it, such combos are boring.

I’ve drawn up a small list of tricks I’m using to make my winter outfits less boring, when I’m in the mood for it. Are you using any of these? How do you spice up your winter outfits?

1. Ponchos and capes

Just throw a long poncho over your average winter outfit or replace the usual scarf and you immediately look like someone rushing to a fashion show!

2. Overknee boots

They protect your legs from the cold and are extremely trendy right now.

3. Total looks

Combine same color pieces for a sophisticated look.

4. Colored fur

Patchwork fur and multi-colored fur is extremely hot this winter plus it’s the one of the warmest things you can wear.
