It’s all about those narrow 90’s cat eye shades this year and you can probably see them everywhere, on street style reports or all over tumblr. I heard various opinions, but my personal one is they’re awesome. Not with every outfit, but maybe with something more masculine or oversized, like large blazers and denim jackets, white shirts are also a good idea. I especially love how they look paired with messy locks and high waisted jeans.

There are almost no street style images to illustrate how cool this season’s hottest trend, the dark denim, looks in real life. That’s because it’s so new not many people have even thought about wearing it. To me, it’s super sophisticated and grown-up, it will most likely immediately elevate any simple outfit idea you had in mind, also it looks amazing against white, I can already picture myself wearing dark denim culottes with my white leather ankle booties.
As you can probably tell, not a day goes buy without me wearing something athleisure so recently I had this idea to share with you the ways I usually style my sporty looks when I want them to be less casual-weekend and more sophisticated day-to-night.
1. Whites and greens
Thank God for these two colors, they look amazing together and when I got this sporty hoodie I immediately knew I was going to wear it with something green. These pants are one of my favorites this year because of the material and the length and just the sophisticated detail I needed – the belt.

2. Bomber & Culottes
Sometimes the combination of black and red can look really chic, especially when you add a pair of red kitten heel boots. I love the juxtaposition of a cropped bomber and a pair of high waisted culottes which also happen to be velour!

3. Track Pants & Lace Up Heels
Definitely a warmer winter look, but eye-catching thanks to the sexy heels I paired my striped joggers with. I really love how it looks layered and voluminous on the top, but the cutout boots make it slightly elegant, if I may say so.
There’s always something about these young bag brands, I guess it’s the fact that all the cool fashionistas have one of them, and they look so amazing with a french-girl wardrobe! I’ve scouted the fashion web for the hottest and trendiest bags of the season, which also happen to be way more affordable than the big brands. The real question now is: which one do I get?
1. Simon Miller
Its signature ‘Bonsai’ bucket bag has become the industry’s favorite, it’s clean, modern and very versatile. Plus it has the rings, which everyone is crazy about!

STAUD was launched not more than two years ago and quickly caught the attention of tastemakers Leandra Medine and Alexa Chung. Their vintage inspired bucket bags have this very cool LA girl vibe, making them a favorite of all the top fashionistas.
Today I was checking out Runway Catalog, a luxury online store that recently started shipping to Ukraine and Eastern Europe and I couldn’t help but noticing it carries lots of investment pieces that we saw on the runways and that any fashionista simply must own. And I’m not only talking about high end designer bags, items like a good woolen coat or a silk blouse, or perfectly fitting statement pants can make your wardrobe go a long way, become those timeless staples that you always seem to reach for, whenever you need to look polished and sleek.
I’ve narrowed down my favorites from Runway Catalog to eleven and it was super hard! Do you guys see these items as investment pieces in your wardrobe? Which of these do you love the most?
