The lovely city you are seeing on the background is called Lviv and it’s just become my home. My boyfriend and I signed a lease agreement a couple days ago and finally moved yesterday. We’ve been traveling back and forth for a whole year maybe because both of us have clients here, but finally decided to move and pursue a more relaxed lifestyle.

I’ll be delegating most of my translation work and invest more time in blogging, styling and enjoying life in general, which seems like the only right solution after an entire winter of long work hours and sleepless nights that resulted in irregular pulse, dark circles and bad skin. I’ll tell you more once we’re all set and I hope you like my outfit from a couple days ago!

I’m wearing:

Coat – Romwe (sold out but similar one here and here)
Pants – Missguided (sold out but gorgeous ones here and here)
Fringe belt – DIY
Sneakers – Zara (similar ones here and here)
Bag – The Leather Satchel
Watch – Michael Kors
Sunnies – ZeroUV

making a case for the 70s trend

Let me start by saying I love new trends. Sometimes I get on the bandwagon a bit later than other fashionistas, but don’t you agree trends make dressing so much more exciting?

I do realize that the 70s trend is either love or hate, though! I’m 100% sold, but I’m not gonna go crazy shopping for all the new 70s inspired garments. I have a better idea – why not make it work with what we already have? I have to admit that it would be harder to recreate a similar look without flares, but that is one of the 70s inspired pieces that I really recommend investing in, because they are here to stay. In this look I incorporated four things I love about about the 70s:

1. Flares, obviously :)
2. Wearing turtlenecks under light jackets or shirts
3. Safari-inspired outerwear (in my case this is a utility jacket I bought a while ago)
4. Cinched waist (preferably wider belts)

But of course, there’s so much more to this trend than what you’re seeing here and I’m extremely inspired to create more outfits, so stay tuned! P.S. Check out my 70s Inspiration pinterest board for more!

I’m wearing:

Jacket – Asos (similar ones here, here and here)
Turtleneck – Zara
Pants – BeTrendy
Belt – Asos
Bag – Asos (similar ones here and here)

I’m all for recycling items in your closet and recently I think I’ve outdone myself by wearing lots of the same pieces over and over in different outfits (hope you guys agree these outfits are different, haha), especially when I’m traveling and have no desire to carry a large bag. On another note, I couldn’t wait any longer to wear these heels, so I figured I’d pair them with some socks for added warmth. And by the way, speaking from experience, sandals and socks are almost as warm as boots.

I’m wearing:

Leather jacket – Zara
Pants – Front Row (in black here and in camel here)
Cropped sweater – AXparis
Heels – Asos (similar styles: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)
Bag – Marc Jacobs (similar ones: 1, 2 and 3)
Watch – Rapp

Those, who follow me on instagram probably suspect I live for sweets and desserts, so naturally I couldn’t help taking a few pictures in front of the only Paul boulangerie we have in Ukraine. I got the taste of their pastry last year in Paris and have been a huge fan ever since. Obviously these pics were taken before the sugar madness began, hence the anticipation on my face :)

I’m wearing:

Coat – Chiswish (similar ones: 1, 2, 3)
Leather jacket – Zara
Jeans – Oasap
Cropped sweater – AXparis
Bag – Marc Jacobs (similar ones: 1, 2 and 3)
Boots – Stradivarius (similar ones here and here)
Watch – Rapp
